Since 1973, K&W Tools has played a vibrant and important role in the development of the saw manufacturing industry, both at a local and international level. Regarded as one of the few pioneers in the Cutting Tool filed, K&W Tools has developed into a thriving manufacturer of more than 60 types of precision

made saws, blades, holesaws and accessories, leading the industry in new product development. K&W has a production capacity of over five million pieces per month.

HISTORY

1973 Established in 1973, K&W Tools Co., Ltd. is located in Da Chin Street with capital NT$1,200,000.00 and started saw manufacturing.

1976　　Received export permit and qualification
                from the Bureau of Standards,Metrology
                and Inspection of Ministry of Economic
                Affairs, ROC, in 1976.

1979　　Moved to current factory location in
Nankang Industrial Zone, Nantou in
1979.

1980 The 2^nd expending project of factory
facilities, etc. completed in 1980

1981 K& W has reached top grade quality control and awarded with the CNS certificate from the Bureau of Standards, Metrology, and Inspections of ministry of Economic Affairs, ROC, in 1981.

1983        1^st time participating International
                Hardware Exhibition in Chicago, USA
                in 1982.

1984         Received Golden Dragon Award of
                Woodworking Saw and Hack Saw
                Blade in 1983.

1992 1^st overseas factory “Hangzhou Allbest Machinery Co., Ltd.” is established in 1992, and received award of “1^st Class Quality Control Modern Manufacturer” from The Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection of Ministry of Economic Affairs, ROC.

1992         Capital has been increased to
                NT$40,000,000.00, and factory
                expended in 1992.

1993 K&W has been classified “Modern Management Manufacturer”, and ISO 9002 certified By The Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, MOEA, in 1993.

1996 Hangzhou Win-up Tools Co., Ltd.
established in Hangzhou, China, in 1996.

1997        Capital has been increased to
               NT$60,000,000.00 and equipped with
               automation line in 1997.

1999        Hangzhou Allbest Machinery Co.,
               Ltd. has been merged in Hanghzou
                Win-up Tools Co., Ltd. in 1999.

1999 Capital has been increased to
NT$80,000,000.00 in 2000.

2000        Received “The 3^rd Little Giant
               Award” from Ministry of Economic
               Affairs, ROC.

2001　 Received “Taiwan Industrial
Continuous Development Award”

2002 Shanghai Win-up Tools Co., Ltd. is
established in 2002.

2002 ISO 9001 certified company in 2002.

2003 Received “Taiwan Excellence Award”
in 2003

2003 Capital has been increased to
NT$100,000,000.00 in 2003.
